Sino-Korean Relations

In preparation for the level-up test today, my kids borrowed erasers from one of my fellow teachers. I just now noticed one of the erasers has "CHINA SUCKS" written at least four times on it.

Sadly, that's one of the more grammatically correct sentences to come out of my classroom.

I realize it isn't valid to extrapolate about the whole country from the reactions of a handful of South Korean ESL students, but it is interesting that at least some of the students have strongly negative feelings about Japan and China.

Are there any countries they react to in a positive way?

Actually, ALL of the students have a negative reaction towards Japan and Japanese people. Not really surprising or unjustified. I personally am not fond of the English after what they did to us for 800 years [/Angela's Ashes]

Yeah - at least the Danes apologized for what they did to us 1200 years ago.

Who do the South Koreans like?
