Her Name Was Rora, She Was A Showgirl

A new term has just begun, and I've got a student named "Rora." I have no idea why. My best guess is that it was a botched attempt at "Lola." Compounding the problem is that there is another girl named "Laura" in the class, which sounds almost exactly the same when the students say it. Whatever its origin, it's been difficult to avoid bursting into "Copacabana" or calling her "Rora . . . R-O-R-A Rora."
