40 Million Koreans Can't Be Wrong

In a country of 50 million, roughly 40 million Koreans have a cell phone. I have been amazed at the age of the kids who have cell phones here. I saw a kid on the street who was using one despite lacking the necessary motor skills to hold it properly.

Fortunately, I have now joined that happy 40 million. When registering for my phone (with the help of an interpreter) they allowed me to choose the last 4 digits of the number. I went with 1958 . . . bonus points to those who get the reference.

If you would like my number, please call me and ask for it.

1958 could stand for the year of Bolton's epic victory in the FA Cup, a 2-0 win over Man U, with both goals scored by the legendary Nat Lofthouse. Or it could stand for the year that saw the opening of the first International House of Pancakes.
