A List of Driving Practices Considered Acceptable in South Korea: Part 1

- Running a red light five to ten seconds after it has turned red.
- Taking the "California Stop" to its logical extension: the "don't stop at all" stop.
- Changing lanes in the middle of an intersection.
- Making U-turns wherever it is convenient for the driver.
- Riding motorcycles on the sidewalk.
- Parking on the sidewalk.
- Parking in crosswalks.
- Parking in front of street corners.
- Parking at an angle with your car hanging out into traffic when you find that a space is too narrow for you to parallel park.

I had a friend live in Seoul and she had many of the same comments. Glad to hear you are doing alright. I share your disdain for the term "blog" in the same way that people who use terms like "LOL" and "WTF"in face-to-face conversation.
